How to book?

On the website :
Please complete the Enquiry or Booking form. When we receive it we will provide you with a summary of your trip by email. We will prepare your booking in our system and send you an email giving you access to your account and the possibility to do the 35% deposit payment. You can also provide your bank card number by phone if you prefer. In that case, please return the email with your agreement for the payment to be taken from your bank card.

We take a 35% deposit upon registration, and month before your departure we will take the balance. 

By phone : 
You can call us on 00 33 5 62 97 72 01. We can give you information about departures, availability, price and you can book by phone. 
The summary of your booking will be sent by email. To book by email, please download and print the booking form and send it to the address below. On the booking form there is a box where you can write down the details of your bank card and the information necessary for payment by bank transfer, if you prefer this solution.

In accordance with the rules of our profession, La Balaguere is insured for Professional Liability (ALLIANZ No. 53.231.046). However, each participant must have an individual civil responsibility insurance as well as an individual multi risk insurance in order to protect themselves in case of incidents or accidents that may occur before or during the walking or the trip. Please note that payment with a credit card generally covers assistance, provided you have used your card to pay for the trip.

Reservations

Booking fees :
Booking fees are administrative expenses. They are applicable to each person booking.

  • for any booking made more than 21 days before departure: 15 € / person.
  • for any booking made 21 days or less before departure: 25 € / person.

 
Deposit :
If you book:
more than 30 days before departure, we require a deposit representing 35% of the total price, plus the total amount of the insurance;
within 30 days before departure, we request the settlement of the entire trip, including insurance and any supplements:
 
Confirmation :
Upon receipt of your booking form we will confirm your registration as soon as possible. The full details of your route and the summary of your booking will be sent to you.
On all "Self Guided" circuits it's you who makes the choice of your date of departure. La Balaguere is committed to ensuring your departure, as soon as we have confirmation of the availability of accommodation on the dates of your choice as well as confirmation of your flight (if requested).
Our response time is usually 1 to 5 days after receipt of your booking form.
 
Payment Methods :
By bank card (except American Express and Diners Club). In this case, indicate very clearly your card number, the expiration date and the last three digits on the back of the card.

Warning : if you pay the deposit by bank card, unless we receive special notice on your part, the balance will also be charged to the bank card on the scheduled date.
 
Balance : The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before departure, without a reminder from us.

Travel Dossier 

A file containing information about your trip, a fact sheet and a guidebook (in the case of "self guided" trips), a luggage tag, your itinerary and your air ticket, if applicable, will be sent as soon as you have paid the balance of your stay, and when we know the exact timing of your flight (if applicable).
Attention, in the case of charter flights, the flight details can only arrive a few days before your departure. Depending on the trip, you will also receive various additional documents or tourist information.

Quality questionnaire - Complaints

A few days after your trip you'll receive by mail a link to the quality questionnaire. This questionnaire is very important to us because it lets us know if you have been fully satisfied, what are our areas for improvement, and from your suggestions, indicates ideas for new trips or walks .You can download the quality questionnaire from our website. 
 
In case of complaint, after having contacted the Quality Department as soon as possible (qualite@labalaguere.com or La Balaguere - Quality Service, 48 Route d'Azun F - 65400 Arrens-Marsous, FRANCE) and in the case of absence of a satisfactory response within 60 days, you can contact the Tourism and Travel mediator, whose contact details, and details of the referral procedure, are available on his website: www.mtv.travel
